At the `Peda and land of Literature` Dharwad the 2010 and 2011 annual Karnataka state Film awards were presented by Karnataka chief minister Siddaramaiah with Information minister Roshan Baig at Karnataka College grounds.

The most expected person of the evening Dr Ambarish was not present to receive the award of his best friend Dr Vishnuvardhana award. He was not seen at Kochi on the grounds of Jawaharlal Nehru grounds in the KBC and Veera Maratha T20 CCL contest.
